The Z-type vacuum kneading machine in a small laboratory is an efficient mixing equipment designed specifically for high viscosity and high elastic-plastic materials (such as silicone rubber, butyl rubber, hot melt adhesive, sealant, chewing gum, etc.) in the formulation research and small-scale testing stage. It has core functions such as closed operation, vacuum defoaming, precise temperature control, and strong shear mixing, and is widely used in fields such as new materials, chemical industry, food, medicine, and electronic packaging.

Core structure and working principle of Z-type sigma mixer

Z-shaped mixing blade design

A pair of Z-shaped or ∑ - shaped stirring blades are used to rotate in opposite directions at different speeds (main shaft 20-40 RPM, secondary shaft 10-20 RPM) in a W-shaped mixing tank, forming strong shear, stretching, folding, and compression effects to achieve deep kneading and uniform dispersion of materials.

Vacuum defoaming system

Equipped with a vacuum pump, the working vacuum degree can reach ≤ -0.094 MPa (approximately 0.094 MPa absolute pressure), effectively removing bubbles and volatile matter trapped during the mixing process, significantly improving the density and mechanical properties of products such as silicone rubber and sealant.

Temperature control system

The mixing tank has a jacket structure and supports electric heating, thermal oil heating, or water cooling. The temperature control accuracy can reach ± 2 ℃, ensuring stable and controllable reaction process. Some high-end models have multi zone independent temperature control function to meet complex process requirements.

Sealing and Material Safety

The mixing shaft adopts a vacuum sealed structure to prevent filler particles from entering the cylinder body; All parts in contact with materials are made of SUS304 or 316L stainless steel

Z型搅拌桨设计‌
采用一对呈Z形或Σ形的搅拌桨,在W型拌缸内以异速反向旋转(主轴20–40 RPM,副轴10–20 RPM),形成强烈的剪切、拉伸、折叠和压缩作用,实现物料深度揉搓与均匀分散。
真空脱泡系统‌
配备真空泵,工作真空度可达≤-0.094 MPa(约0.094 MPa压力),有效去除混合过程中裹入的气泡和挥发分,显著提升硅橡胶、密封胶等产品的致密性与力学性能。
温控系统‌
拌缸带夹套结构,支持电加热、导热油加热或水冷却,温度控制精度可达±2℃,确保反应过程稳定可控。部分机型具备多区独立控温功能,满足复杂工艺需求。
密封与材质安全‌
搅拌轴采用真空式密封结构,防止填料颗粒进入缸体;凡与物料接触部件均采用SUS304或316L不锈钢制造
